Welcome Yogis

Mya Saldivar, founder of Suvita Hot Yoga, made her dream a reality in 2017. Mya wanted to share her love and passion of hot yoga with her community. After years of research, and practicing at many studios across the state, Mya found that what Utah lacked was a studio that embodied the compassion, love, and self-recognition that she and many others longed for. Suvita Hot Yoga was born.

The studio began as a “Sumits Hot Yoga” franchise. After moving to Utah from California, Mya knew she wanted to create a space for everyone to experience this gift of Hot Yoga. Mya and Sumits worked hand in hand on the space located in South Jordan, UT, but shortly after Mya realized her vision did not align with that of a Sumits franchise.

Suvita was born from the ashes of Sumits in January of 2017. The name “Suvita” translates to “A Good Path”. Mya always felt that a space should create a welcoming, and warm feeling, where students and teachers can encourage and support each other to becoming their better selves. The heat, and humidity challenges the student, pushes them to their physical and mental limits. Mya wanted to create an experience, a sanctuary for people of all backgrounds to find solace in their mental, emotional, and physical forms. The heat transforms the body and mind. The heat sharpens your will power and forges your iron will. There is a battle that happens in the hot room, in the end the rewards are grand.

Here at Suvita we want to be your safe space. Our intention is to welcome one and all. No matter what race, religion, sex, orientation, gender, everyone is welcome, everyone is treated the same. Your yoga doesn’t care how you show up, it just asks that you do show up. That’s all we ask from our students. Come as you are, share your light with us and find your community, the safe space tucked away and cradled in South Jordan UT.

Join us, and start your journey with Suvita Hot Yoga. A decision you will never regret. Namaste
